Earlier this year, OComp became part of the Apave Group. The group is now continuing its growth in Norway through the acquisitions of Synfaring and ExTek, two companies with strong professional teams and solid market positions in inspection, certification, and safety training, respectively.
The acquisitions are part of Apave’s long-term strategy in the Nordic region. With Synfaring and ExTek on board, Apave now has more than 150 employees in Norway and over 230 in Scandinavia.
For OComp, this is yet another important step in building a strong Nordic professional community in the fields of safety and technical expertise. Together with Trainor, Baltic Control Certification, Synfaring, and ExTek, we are even better equipped to support our customers with services that contribute to safer operations, increased expertise, and reduced risk.
Although the companies have different areas of specialization, we share a common focus on quality, safety, and expertise. This provides a solid foundation for collaboration across companies, disciplines, and markets in the years to come.
