VHF/SRC - Preparation for exam
Prepare for the VHF/SRC Certificate Examination at your own pace. This self-study course provides the knowledge required to pass the Norwegian Maritime Authority's VHF/SRC exam, covering marine radio communication, emergency procedures, and safe VHF operation.
Participants are responsible for:
Registering for the VHF/SRC examination with the Norwegian Maritime Authority. Paying the examination fee directly to the Norwegian Maritime Authority.
Completion of a preparation course is not mandatory before taking the examination, but it is strongly recommended.
The goal
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will have the knowledge required to sit for and pass the VHF/SRC Certificate Examination.
The course is delivered as self-study, with the examination conducted separately by the Norwegian Maritime Authority (NMA) by appointment. The examination fee is paid when registering for the exam.

Personnel who use VHF/SRC marine radio equipment in their work and require a Short Range Certificate (SRC).
