Upon completion of the course, participants will have:
Theoretical basic training in hydraulic cranes A good understanding of the principles behind the structure and operation of hydraulic cranes Knowledge of safe operation, maintenance, and daily inspections

Construction of different types of hydraulic cranes Review of applicable laws and regulations Mechanics – forces acting on different structures Hydraulic systems, pumps and valves – principles of operation Inspection by a competent person and crane documentation Capacities – use of load charts Crane operator’s instructions Steel wire ropes for cranes and winches Drums and wire rope sheaves Safe use of lifting equipment
