The Hydraulic Hose Crimping Course provides participants with fundamental and practical skills in the production, assembly, and inspection of hydraulic hoses. The course combines theoretical instruction with practical exercises in workshop facilities and is designed to ensure correct, safe, and standardized hose assembly.

Couplings and hoses in a hydraulic system Couplings according to ISO 8434 – function and assembly Threads, flanges, and sealing principles Measurements and dimensional specifications Selection of hoses and hose types Measuring, cutting, skiving, crimping, and the proper use of tools Use of a crimping gauge to verify correct internal collapse after crimping Use of a caliper to check ferrules and external dimensions Inspection and verification of completed crimping Inspection and maintenance of hoses / Damage analysis Information on specific customer requirements Requirements for hoses and fittings for onshore and offshore applications Demonstration of pressure testing of hoses – correctly crimped and damaged hose
